They've added some nice titles to the steam store.
I do believe BF3 is in the make, so I don't know if buying BF2 is still worth it.

I still think its worth getting BF2, even if BF3 is in the make. For $10, you really can't go wrong. I spent $30 for my Deluxe Edition retail a while back, which includes Special Forces so its a fairly good deal in my opinion.

$10 for BF2? Thats a bargain!
I also brought the Deluxe Edition but around 25 i think it was and had a choice of another game with it for that money. Which happened to be Supreme Commander gold

Wow, it's only $10? I didn't really look into the prices, I'm really considering giving this a purchase now! Glad to see Steam is continuing to grow with non-Valve games!

my friend says the expansion are free now, they are in an update SO EVERYONE THINKING OF BUYING BF2 GET ORIGINAL NO EXPANSIONS

Thats not the expansion. The expansion isn't free. It is the Booster packs that have been made free they came with a patch and new multiplayer maps.

Just thought I correct that for those that don't have BF2 yet and may buy it.
