Turns out it was the Steam Beta UI that was causing MW2 to not pre-load. Worked after I switched back to the old UI.

I wouldn't say so, ChrisDok, its a great game, but by far not the best competitive online game.

yeah i kinda over did it with the whole in video game history part,
but it is definately the best in the last 2 years AT LEAST..

That subjective...due to the amount of bugs, glitches and exploits along with the server issues.

Did anyone like the MW2 weekend? More to the point, Is anyone interested playing matches with me? Just for fun and nothing very serious. Look on my profile if you think you might want to join in.

I enjoyed the time I spent playing the free weekend with my friends. I'm still not going to pay $60 for the game, though. And I'm sure as hell not going to pay $15 for a map pack.

Looks like they're having another free weekend. This time to celebrate the release of the Stimulus DLC.

Still not going to buy it, but I'll probably try to get some more play time in with my buddies. The preload seems to be broken again, though...¬_¬
