you can play at max res, just check see if your card if overheating. try http://www.evga.com/precision/ to check your temp.

So can anyone tell me....who have better cards? ATI or Nvidia i cant tell anymore

Heres what I think:
ATI have better cards and cheaper.
NVIDIA have better drivers and support.

But higher resolution makes the graphic card over heat faster right???.

if the card is at a critical level it will shutdown to prevent itself from getting destroyed. it just wont happen at once . there will be warnings , dont be worried if you think its getting way too loud and hot.if there is no warning that means its at its normal stance.

Yea, playing at higher resolution and settings will make the graphic card overheat faster. If you think your graphic card is overheating, try playing at a lower resolution and settings. You can also try turning up the fan speed up a bit.
