\r\n \r\n I am not sure how comfortable you are with windows, I am assuming you are primarily a mac user. \n \nwell, here is some video footage on Dragon Age running with the same graphics solution you have on your macbook. \n \n \nDoes it run like this? I assume it runs a bit smoother since Windows XP has a smaller footprint than Windows 7 and you have 2GB more ram than the video uploader does. Also, what programs do you have running in the background? a quick Ctrl+Alt+Delete should give you an idea what is eating up your memory in the "processes tab". \n \nIf you go into Msconfig, you can check what programs you have starting up with the machine...I would try disabling anti-virus software as those usually eat up memory.\r\n

He has more MB dedicated to graphics as mine only registers 128 MB. How do I dedicate more Ram to Video if possible? \n \neven though the game is set to run at 800 x 600 my intel GMA is set at 1280 x 800 x 32bpp with 60hz refresh rate. will this cause any changes in gameplay or is this only the res for the system outside of gameplay? \n \nwill downloading newer patch help?

with integrated intel graphics found in macbooks, the memory is dynamically allocated. It does it automatically, borrowing as much as it needs...making all the ram you have all that important. \n \nPatch? for the game? I think it may work...is this the steam version of Dragon Age? Steam usually keeps your games up to date. Try to search for driver updates for all your parts...that usually helps out when it comes to performance. going to windowsupdate.com usually lets you know if you need to update drivers with "optional updates"\r\n

\r\n \r\n I\'m a bit of a computer noob but the recommended reqs say AMD X3 2.8 ghz.. I have an AMD X4 2.6 ghz.. I was lead to believe that an X4 has 4 cores wich is supposedly better than two (the bigger the better) but when its only 2.6 ghz will that mean I have to run the game with lower quality? also i have a XFX Radeon HD 5750 512MB GDDR5 -PCI-Express 2.0, 2xDVI-I, HDMI, DisplayPort, 700MHz and that should take care of the graphics am I right? plus 4gb DDR3 RAM should I have any problem running this?\r\n
