Yea so i got a laptop with a terrible on board video card and was wondering if there was a way to hook up an external video card to it so my laptop wouldn't run off the on board card

It's not possible to have an "external" video card. However, if you are worried about playing games on your laptop's VGA(Probably Intel.... >_>) there is this service that is being released commercially soon where you purchase the games off their server, and play it off they're server, only requiring you to have a strong internet connection and their client to play it with little to no lag. I forgot what the service was called, perhaps someone else could help me out.

That's the really big con about laptops, no (or very hard) upgrades.
As far as I know there isn't any external video card, as it would also be impossible to place it.
@Goliath77 I've never heard of that business, but it could be interesting for some people.

Yeah, thanks Jay. That's what it was. It's a definite hit in my opinion, especially for people who don't have much time to go out and buy a console then games, and just have a library of games at their finger tips. Very ingenious.

Ohh! I heard about this from a friend, but I never knew what it was called. Thanks!

It's a really interesting concept. I wonder how much it'll cost. o.o
