Pretty much a game made of with features from the STALKER series and Metro 2033.
It needs to be free roam just like STALKER with features from both STALKER and Metro 2033 to make a perfect game. Too many things to even attempt to describe that would make it so perfect. I be surprised if there was a game already that combines the good elements from them two games and is good. (attempt to add more details later if i think of it more) |

To start with I wanna say I love the fable series!
Anyway, my dream game would also be an open rpg game. It should be online for both mmo and Co-op. You should be able to switch between firstperson and 3rd person view. There should be two stances. Fight mode and roaming mode. Should be a medival-ish game were the gun was just invented. (A shield would be good protection). There would not be monster only humans and animals for mobs and stuff. Two factions would ofcourse be made. There wouldn't be any good or bad side, just two different sides. No benefits for choosing either one. There would be classes like Zeek's, but you can train to be good in all of them. There should be classes like gunner, swordsman, axeman and spear. You know what I mean... Combat system would be click and hit not like wow where it autohits. However there would be a max hit per sec so people dont go crazy with third party programs XD. There would be skills to learn and they would be put to combat by different mouse rotations. (hope that would work). There would not be any magic enhancments or anything only sharpening stuff and class abilities would help you be better with a weapon. And skill ofc. The world should be set to an idyllic world where there were alot of ocean and harbours. You can buy your own boat and have sea battles. Boarding either NPC or other players ships to earn rep, gold and their stuff^^ And an arena is OFC available. To fight across the factions or in between, with friends ![]() A very specific and detailed character customization (Lol). You can change just about anything OR you can leave it to a rather long list of presets. There should be tatoos, clothes and a wide collection of coloures. And now for the best part. You would be able to customize your weapon! Not like putting together parts, but actually drawing it or uplaoding a picture, then some uninvented program would make it AWESOME!. The name would be the same and the stats, but this way everyone can have their unique looking weapon. This is not only an option for the beginners weapon, any sword can be taken to a smith and be re-melted. Same for guns, shields and armour! There would also be specialisations, like medics, field smiths and cooks. This would help both singlehanded and in groups. DAMN I wrote much XD Guess I have to little homework and too many games ![]() ![]()

That's a pretty cool trailer for Hellgate London there. I looked at a few gameplay videos because I was sincerely interested, but I was hoping it was less like a World of Warcraft clone. Think more Borderlands.

So, I'm impressed that people actually have posted pretty intelligent posts on this thread. I wanted to know what people wanted in the game world, and it's good to hear.

Title: Extracted
Character: A creative / basic character creation, (Probably like when you're making an Xbox Live avatar, choose from different noses, faces, etc.) Voice: Realistically, there would probably be no voice. Your character will just be the silent take orders type, maybe with a laugh or something, that could come from a list of preset voices . It's an FPS as a game, but a 3rd person as a roam Area: Dublin, Ireland - You can be in the city, and out in the land. - Weapon proficiencies Story: Zombies have taken over, and you were brought to Dublin, it's outskirts have been sanctioned as a safe ground, one of the last areas, to be infected, and the military hold down has kept it safe, but Ireland is infected, and zombies are slowly making their way into Dublin from London. You start off as a mercenary, on a truck, listening to other people talk about your starting mission. Starting mission: You're dropped off your truck and told to attempt to save 5 survivors holed up in a small house in the country. You pick 1 weapon up, from Sub-Machine Gun, Light-Machine Gun, Assault Rifle, Sniper. You get a pistol as your secondary, can be changed for shotgun later on. Knife as last. You then start the mission. ___________I'll Keep writing possible missions in the future - I chose Dublin because that opens the possibility of castle missions Last edited by zeek; 06-04-2010 at 02:41 AM. |

A game similar to Savage: The Battle for Newerth and Savage 2. In brief this game gives you the ability to play in FPS, Third Person Shooter or Real Time Strategy in a Fantasy setting.
1) The game must adapt to my gameplay style. This require AI that will learn so that none of the bosses or even minor enemies fall into a pattern. I want to struggle for my victories without being cheated...don't just give them super power-ups and think that's it. I want the end chapter bosses to be difficult to defeat. 2) The game must be time sensitive. I don't want an epic 60 hour game filled with repetitive battles. Yet, I don't want a 10 hour game. If the game gives me a goal like get item A to location B...That mission should be timed and my adversary should be finding ways to prevent me at every turn. 3) The game world should be affected by my interaction or lack thereof. It's does not have to be alignment based all the time it could be something as simple as...with the defeat of said boss in this area the lack of adventurers have wane and prices on goods are now affected...so on and so forth. 4) Injuries that are permanent. The last game to do this well was 'Wizardry 8' a RPG for the PC. This game had a hard mode that was seriously no joke but it also had one of the most memorable game playing moments for myself. One of my archers went blind over time from an injury I got in his early levels and by the time I had what I needed to cure it it was too late...kept him in my party and it made the game harder but I got other bonuses towards the end and it was completely random *I reloaded to see what would change and it never happened again* and changed some of the story aspects of the game. 5) Time elapse. If I played the game in June it should be sunny but when I play the game in December it should be winter. Sega and a few other PC games had features like this but the most memorable game was 'Nights' for Sega Saturn. The game changed during holidays and seasons and it was eye candy but it gave you a sense of joy that is unrivaled. If all of this can be added to a game....It would be my ideal game...I know it's punishing but I hate easy games ![]()
