Default Splinter Cell : Conviction

I've been playing the splinter cell games since the original,
i have all 4 for pc, the first one for Xbox, and the newest for Gamecube .
anyway, this is one game thats kinda been, well, "underground"?
it was set for release this october, but was moved to next february. it has a completely different style of gameplay then the others, although it is still based around stealth. even though the new Stalker, MW2, and L4D2 are coming out soon, i am for sure getting this game
heres the E3 trailer : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6tg7n6idTg

hehe if your thinking about getting this one, its HIGHLY based on the storyline from Splinter cell double agent, so get double agent first

Ah, yes, I remember seeing that trailer. I think I've played all of them, but only beaten Double Agent, and I'm definitely looking forward to this one. I love stealth-based games, as long as they work, which I know Splinter Cell does.

I've seen the trailer before, but I've never played any splinter cell game.
So that makes me not really excited about this title.

none of the others are sandboxes, this one isnt really either, but conviction and double agent are definately NOT linear. double agent especailly, because your working for 2 agencies, you can do basically whatever you want

so you cant roam around doing whatever you want and just breaking random peoples necks? like gta4 where you can just drive around and dont HAVE to follow the main story line
