I still do not understand what reasoning Sony used to decide to charge MORE for the Go. They literally removed all of the moving parts, shrunk the screen, and added some flash memory and a bluetooth chip (which are all dirt-cheap, at industrial prices). It just doesn't add up how this should result in a $100 retail markup. The Go is a bad joke, and I think Sony is realizing it. Some exec recently commented on how the Go could be "confusing" to consumers. Gee, ya think?
Hopefully digital distribution will put an end to that.
I don't want to go into this debate, but I just wanna say, no, it won't.
