Actually, there is no catch...You will have ingame items that you will get randomly that will allow you to go into those levels. Much like DDO use to be.

It's very simple first - You find the parts you want. I use 3 methods:

1) Online

www.pricewatch.com <- They usually have the cheapest price

2) Offline Stores

Do a search in your local paper (or online papers) for computer stores going out of business or having mega stales.

3) Computer Shows.

NOW - Contact the manufacturer either by phone or email and look for a newsletter or ask about their rebate/coupon program. All companies have them.

Print or cut them out.

Finally if you have a bank/debit card sign up for their reward program - For example Citibank has www.thankyou.com - Check out local bank.

As you purchase ANYTHING you collect points. They have cashback programs for purchase especially technology...You can also use their online/offline catalogs that also have coupons on the tech you need.

----It's a lot of work when you first do it but I've been doing this for YEARS...so in less than 30 minutes I take a PC that is worth $1,500 and bring it down to under $400 or less.

BTW - If you hit a site that spams you or does pop-ups - you're doing it wrong. These companies want you to use their things without a hassle...they get a tax break too

Here is a good example.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.428299

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

On top of this my debit card will give me $10 cash back on this purchase.

So I get...

BIOSTAR G31D-M7 LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

MSI N94GT-MD512 GeForce 9400 GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card

for a grand total of $8.98

Define 'good.'

Why would anyone buy a bad video card on purpose?

Review - http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,6...iewed/Reviews/

Here is a video of the card in action.

Not bad for a $4.00 video card.

Actually, you run current games on high settings if you get the Sidesplit/modded drivers.

Musicworld1 has been saying short and un-detailed things, so you could be right.
About the 9400GT, that really is a very low end card ... you won't be able to run anything in the near future on high. Currently, with XP 32-bit or so, it'll most likely still run smooth enough.
