Not being able to jump or swim. Seriously, I can understand not adding a jump button in some games, but it tends to get on the nerves. And unless the water is toxic or lava, or the character ate a devil's fruit or something swimming shouldn't really be a life or death scenario like it is.

ya i agree, the only game that really justified this not being able to swim in water that Ive played would be infamous. I mean your guy is almost made of electricity.

I agree with jumping...

Mass effect, Wish it had jumping, but I'm truly a jump whore...

In Zelda: Ocarina of Time... I Would hold Z and flip backward just to jump, but that game doesn't need jumping...

A cliche I always see though, which is a useful one for games, but pisses me off

When theres 500,000,000,000 (that's 500 Billion BTW) doors that you CANT go through... I say just make less rooms if you can't go through them...

Also weapons / items that are loose that you can't pick up, Half Life really solved this for me, but why when there is a GIANT sharp thing on the ground I can't pick it up and hit something with it.... (Oblivion / FO:3 fixed these too)

Been watching One Piece I see? That sounds like the most logical reason companies may use.

You can see more to the area but you can't explore as some invisible wall blocks you: Oblivion - End of map so it just stops you (can remove it), Stalker - Fences are there for no reason at all (Can be removed), Left 4 Dead - Random things are there blocking you from exploring that part of an area (Fences, Barricades and so on)

I don't like it in the older GTA such as you can't swim and so. In Vice City there's a Beach full of people in swimming stuff and when you scare them with a car so that they run into the water they drown.
That was just crappy but still, Vice City is my favorite cities of them all, hopefully they make GTA: Vice City 2 soon or even better, they could combine all the cities then. The San Andreas state that is connected to Liberty City and Vice City
It'd be like 30 or 40 GBs then lol

Well those cities are based off real cities...

Liberty City: New York City, New York - Statue of Liberty
San Andreas: One of the san's haven't really played that game
Vice City: Miami, Florida - Miami Vice... Was an old show

They could do a new Vice City, but the city is too small compared to what they can do now, San Andreas was kind of cell shaded and cartoonish, and 4 (Aka Liberty City) was right on for what they can do now, but then again that's why it was the first game rated 10/10 by one of the big gaming sites (can't think which one) since Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I don't think you can climb though in L4D, only special infected can climb certain parts of a wall or object.

But humans can climb... And how long would it take them to figure out, that the quickest way from (Point A) to (Point B) is a straight line, even if that line is blocked by a fence

BTW <--- that's the coolest smiley face ever
