First gameplay footage Prince of Persia: The forgotten sands
Ubisoft has posted a new video on their youtube account which shows the first look at the new Prince of Persia.

The new Prince of Persia keeps the classic gameplay with a newer touch, such as graphics and the prince's moves.
The developers give some information in the video as well.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is set for release at May 10 2010.

Watch the footage here:

The game looks great. Another great looking game in the Prince of Persia series.

kool, I hope the game is as good as it looks... and it does appear to have a lot in common with the original. well done.

I really hope that isn't their final logo design. That's some pretty atrocious typography.

Really hated Warrior Within, and Two Thrones was only so-so. The "attitude" was just dreadful. I'm hoping for something closer to Sands of Time here, but, I won't get my hopes up too high.

Gameplay footage makes it look like they've gone back to the spirit of Sands of Time, so that makes me happy. Unfortunately, being a Ubisoft game it'll probably use their new DRM and as a result will see no money from me.

MysticStone 03-18-2010 09:28 AM

I also don't like that Ubisoft will probably use their new DRM again in this game. Ubisoft servers have been down a lot recently, so it will be hard to play single player games like Assassin Creed 2 and the new Prince of Persia coming out.

thats ubisoft .. u better buy there games or they 'll stop making buggy ports to pc :)
