Changes on VGRequirements, Ask away if you have any questions.

In an effort to make VGRequirements easier for visitors to get information, We have decided to make some changes to site. Don't worry all things you have loved will still be there, just easier to get your questions answered and help from many people instead of just waiting on a reply from myself.

1) Will I still be able to search System Requirements as quickly as ever?
YES, in most cases it will take just one search to find the system requirements information you are looking for.

2) Will I have to register on the forums in order to search System Requirements?
NO, visitors browsing on another computer or on their cellphone will not have to log in to quickly find system requirements.

3) Will I have to register on the forums in order to ask a question about a game or anything else?
YES, In order to help fight spam this is necessary.

4) Will my old posts on the older database be lost?
Yes, those posts will be gone forever. However, it will now be much easier to interact with other members and take advantage of upcoming features as linking your steam, xbox live, psn, and wii accounts in one place. There is also more, but lets keep that under wraps for now ;)

Have any questions? just register and ask away

no it was just recently added to the forums, we have always been supported by ads (vgrequirements.com)

We are just basically transitioning the main site to the boards.

So, did the changes already happen or not?
It all seems fine to me.

Search is a little picky at the moment, I will be tweaking this a bit to make it better.

Most people should find what they are looking for.

What if you would make like a weekly poll on the homepage ?
Just a small suggestion, I don't know what the others think of it.
Questions should be something like
"Which game are you going to buy this week/month ?"
1) Borderlands
2) Left 4 Dead 2
X) XXXXXXX
5) A different game

or

"I've got windows 7 and ... "
1) I'm very pleased about it
2) I don't like it at all
3) I'm switching back to XP/Vista
4) It's ok
5) I haven't tested it

thanks for the suggestion, I will consider that.
